The love

Love that brought us to life. With love LORD create and made us. With love a couple became one. Also with the same love as well, children are born.

Love is all around us, with love we have happiness, hope, etc. Keeping the relationship is harder to maintain, but what God says about these in the bible.

God’s Love:

John 3:16: ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’

This is a perfect example of unconditional love, like that of God and parents for their children.

Man’s Love For God:

Matthew 6:24: ‘No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.’

This verse relates to the kind of love expected of us and what we are capable of. The fact that every relationship, like that between us and God needs total concentration in togetherness, is put across so beautifully.

Love Among Fellow Humans:

1 Corinthians 13:4-13: ‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. . .And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.’

This Bible verses on love are great examples of the kind of understanding and trust that we need to nurture in our relationships with one another. The importance of hope, and selflessness is well highlighted.

Love is an emotion we share in so many different relationships. The love of a spouse, love between siblings, parents and children, the destitute and society are all unique. But, even as we view each of these relationships differently, the common binding force remains ‘selflessness’. The Holy Bible is full of expression that emphasizes on the power of love. For example:

Proverbs 10:12: ‘Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.’
